Training experts have long-known that people learn by cycling through four stages: "thinking," "observing," "doing," and "feeling." In order to learn, you have to know how you learn. To be effective teachers, we have to be aware of these different learning patterns and incorporate them into our teaching methods. We prefer an immersive, interactive style which we feel appeals to all stages in the learning process, and allows students to start learning at whatever stage they are most comfortable.
